How can I become a member of Cedar Point?
You can be a member of Cedar Point if you live, work, worship, go to school or regularly conduct business in St. Mary's, Calvert or
Charles Counties, or are an immediate family member, spouse, or partner of someone who is eligible.
I already have an account at another financial institution (Credit Union or Bank). Can I still be a member of Cedar Point?
Anyone who fits our Field of Membership can become a member. It does not matter if you are a member of another Credit Union or if you have accounts at other financial institutions.
Where can I get information about Cedar Point's rates?
Rate information is available online. Just click here for rate information. We endeavor to keep our rate information up to date, but they are subject to change without notice. You can call your member service representative at 301-863-7071 or 800-201-1647 to confirm the latest rates. Mortgage Rates are available on mortgage webcenter, and our mortgage rate line, which is updated regularly is available at 301-863-7071 ext. 8490.
Can checks be written against Money Market accounts?
Checks cannot be written against Cedar Point Money Market accounts at this time.
Where can I get the routing, RTF or ABA number for Cedar Point?
Our routing number is 255077736. This number is also called an ABA number or a routing transit number (RTN)
When will I receive my statement?
Statements are mailed during the first week of the following month. You should receive your statement around the 8th or 10th of that month. We encourage our members to go green and sign up for eStatements on PCU.
If I switch jobs to an employer not associated with Cedar Point can I keep my membership?
Yes. Once you are a member of Cedar Point, you are always a member as long as you keep your account in good standing.
It usually takes from seven to ten business days for your check order to arrive. In emergencies orders can be rushed for a small charge or a small book of "counter checks" can be provided free of charge
Transfers can be made to another account by phone only if both accounts are titled identically, that is, all names are the same on both accounts, or we have a Related Accounts Authorization on file.
Can I cash a third party check
Cedar Point Federal Credit Union does not accept third party checks.
Does Cedar Point offer a debit card?
Cedar Point offers the Visa Debit Card. You can download an application for a Visa Debit Card or pick one up at at any branch office.

You can get information about fees online or you can pick up a Rate and Fee Schedule at any branch office
Does Cedar Point accept Federal Tax deposits?
We will file quarterly federal business taxes (e.g. 940, 941) for our members. You must bring your own Treasury Tax and Loan account coupons. The tellers can handle this transaction for you.
When does the Verizon representative come?
Cedar Point no longer has a relationship with Verizon Wireless. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Can I purchase foreign currency?

Can I transfer funds with Personal Credit Union and Teller24?
Funds can be transferred between suffixes on the same account number using both PCU and Teller24. This allows you to transfer funds from your savings to your checking or from your checking to your loan. If you wish to make transfers between different accounts on Teller24 you must file a Related Accounts Authorization. A transfer to an unrelated account can be completed on PCU with the account number, suffix and the first three letters of the primary member's last name.

What is Cedar Point Financial Services' relationship to Cedar Point Federal Credit Union?
Cedar Point Financial Services is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Cedar Point Federal Credit Union that was established to educate and provide Cedar Point Federal Credit Union members and potential members with access to high quality insurance services.
Is there a charge for meeting with a financial services representative?
This is a free service offered to Cedar Point Federal Credit Union members and potential members. You can contact a Cedar Point Financial Services representative by phone at 301-863-7071 ext. 8427 or 8432, by email at cpfs@cpfcu.com or just stop by our Headquarters Office during regular business hours.
