Creating a Secure Password

Create a phrase you can remember. Something that is meaningful only to you. Longer phrases make more secure passwords.
  • I am a member, and I love Cedar Point
Use the first letter of each word to create a seemingly random string of letters.
  • "iaamailcp"

Substitute numbers or special characters for some of the letters.

Here are some easy to remember substitiutions:

  • "1a@mai7cp"
Add some capitals that make sense to you.
  • "1a@mai7CP"
Make sure at least one symbol character is used or add some symbol characters to your password.
  • "1a@mai7CP!"

You now have a secure 10 character password that you can remember!

Of course this is just an example. Use your own phrase to make your own unique password!
