Under separate federal and state laws,
residents of Maryland are entitled to one free credit report per
year from each of the three Credit Reporting Agencies. How do I get my free credit reports?
Why check my credit report?
Why contact all three Credit Reporting Agencies? Your creditors may not report the payments they receive to all three agencies, so each agency holds slightly different information about you. To make sure all the information about you is correct, it is important to ask each agency. Free Report Ordering Information: Although you can get your credit reports by going to each agency's Web site, you must call them to get the free credit report through the Maryland state law. If you access them online, you can get your credit report more quickly, but you will have to pay for it with a credit card.
