Coin Services

Automatic coin counting is now available at the Headquarters, Lexington Park, Leonardtown, and Charlotte Hall Offices. There is no fee to our members for this service and the funds can be deposited to your account or exchanged for bills at the teller line.

Automatic service is not available at other branches at this time, however, the tellers in the Patuxent River (Base), and Prince Frederick Offices will be happy to count your coin collection and deposit the money to your account. A receipt will be mailed to the address on file to verify the amount of your deposit. There is no fee to members for this service.

Coins can be purchased from any teller. We will supply up to 5 rolls per day for your small business or flea market at no charge to our members. If you need more than five rolls we charge a fee of ten cents per roll.

The Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009, signed into law on May 20, 2009,
continued an increased level of insurance coverage on all accounts of
up to $250,000 through December 31, 2013.
