EligibilityPersons who live, work (or regularly conduct business), worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties, Maryland are eligible for membership. Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; volunteers, members of their immediate families or households; organizations of such persons; and corporate or other legal entities in this charter are also eligible for membership. Once you become a member of Cedar Point Federal Credit Union, you are always a member! You can still enjoy our services even if you change jobs, move, or retire. Open your account in personStop by any branch office. Our Member Service Representatives will be happy to assist you. Please bring a valid state-issued photo ID with a current address, your Social Security number, and a deposit of $5.00. This $5.00 is your "share" in the credit union. It must stay in your account, but is yours to take if you should ever choose to close your account. If your ID does not have your current address, please bring proof of your address, such as an MVA change of address, Utility bill, Mortgage bill, lease agreement, or recent bank statement. Membership ApplicationTo apply for membership, please visit your closest branch. Click here for a list of locations. The membership application must be signed in the presence of a Cedar Point employee or a notary public, and must be accompanied by a deposit of at least $5.00 and a photocopy of state-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or passport. Rates & FeesCedar Point Federal Credit Union strives to offer services that meet the financial needs of every member, and to return the profits from those services to our member-owners in the form of higher dividends and lower rates.
