Why Cedar Point?
What sets Cedar Point apart from other financial institutions? We make decisions locally. We're focused on our people: our members, our employees and our community. We are also the only community credit union headquartered in Southern Maryland, and the last remaining financial institution headquartered in St. Mary's County.
Persons who live, work (or regularly conduct business), worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties, Maryland are eligible for membership.
Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; volunteers, members of their immediate families or households; organizations of such persons; and corporate or other legal entities in this charter are also eligible for membership.
Once you become a member of Cedar Point Federal Credit Union, you are always a member! You can still enjoy our services even if you change jobs, move, or retire.
