Digital Banking Enrollment Tips

We wanted to provide some tips for troubleshooting your digital banking enrollment. Please reach out to us if you cannot get enrolled using these tips.

  • Double check your zip code.
  • Outdated information on file. If any of the requested information is incorrect in our system, you cannot enroll. Please call us or use our webchat feature to get your information updated.
  • YOUR CAPS LOCK IS ON. The system is case sensitive, so please use Proper Case (e.g. Smith instead of SMITH or smith).
  • Last name format: Be sure that you include any hyphens or spaces, and capitalize the right letters.
  • Requested Login ID: We've gotten a lot of questions about what this is. You need to pick a new login ID because you are re-enrolling. Please do not use your email address or personal information, especially your account number, as your new Login ID. A strong Login ID cannot be guessed by others.
  • Enroll directly: enroll through the browser using this Enrollment link
  • Enroll using the app: download the app from the App Store or Google Play. There is a link to enroll just below the login box. Remember, you can't log in with your old information.

Locating your Statements

If you receive eStatements, they will be available for viewing within digital banking after you receive your notification through email at the beginning of the month. Statements that were generated prior to our Technology Upgrade are also available within digital banking but will be stored separately from statements you will receive after the upgrade. Use the guide below to navigate to both new and historical statements.

Locating Your eStatements

If you receive paper statements, you can expect those to arrive in the mail by the 10th of the month following the statement period.

Please remember that all statements have a new look moving forward. Below is an example of what new statements will look like and how to read information that is changed on them.

How to read your Statement

Mastercard and Mortgage statements are still located separately from your account statements. Follow the links below to view Mastercard and Mortgage statements.

Changes to your Account Identifiers

Did my account number change? Your account number(s) did not change; however, your account identifiers (suffixes) did change. An account identifier or suffix refers to the account type such as Savings, Checking, Collateral Loan or Holiday Club, among others.

What are my new account identifiers? You can use the chart below to understand what your suffixes look like. You will note that there are some nuances to these changes. If you have more than one Account type such as two Checking or two Savings, please refer to the "Additional" label to read your additional account type identifier. It will also help to save a recent statement so that you can compare your accounts before and after the upgrade.

What if I don’t see my account type here? We recommend logging into digital banking to view your accounts and suffixes. If you are still unsure of the changes to your account type(s), please give us a call at 301-863-7071 and we will be glad to assist you.

What do I need to do? It is a good idea to hold onto your January statement so that you can compare your current account identifiers to the new account identifiers. We recommend you log into digital banking to see your new account identifier changes.

Where can I find my eStatements for comparison? If you receive eStatements, previous statements can be viewed in digital banking by going to Services in the menu and then clicking the Electronic Documents tile. Future statements will be available for viewing by clicking the eStatement tile.

CardControl & CardValet® Update

For those who have been using CardControl in digital banking, the process has changed. CardControl was a “sidecar” app that opened when you activated it in our previous digital banking platform. It now functions as a standalone app. You’ll need to uninstall the CardControl app and download the CardValet® app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you’ve done that, follow these easy steps to add your Cedar Point cards. To get started with CardValet®:

  1. Click on the CardValet® app to open it.
  2. On the home screen of CardValet® select New User.
  3. Enter or your card number or use your device’s camera to scan the card.
  4. Enter the following information associated with the card: address, security code, expiration, and zip.
  5. As a final verification step, enter the last four digits of your social.
  6. When the Terms & Conditions appear, select Accept.
  7. When the Privacy Notice appears, select Accept.
  8. Create a username and password. We recommend you use something unique that does not include personal identifying information.
  9. When you reach the login page, sign in with your new username and password.

You are now signed in to CardValet®! From here, you can add another card, turn your card on or off, view recent transactions and balances, and manage your card by setting usage locations, spending limits, and other limitations that you prefer.

Digital Banking FAQ

Do I need to set up a new login & username for digital banking? Yes. Please re-enroll in digital banking if you haven't already done so. To do that, you can sign in through the login portal on our website. Mobile users will need to uninstall the existing app and download the new app. You will need the following information at hand: your last name, date of birth, full SSN & zip code.

Digital Banking Account IdentifierHow do I read my account numbers in digital banking? Account numbers are six digits followed by a 4-digit account type identifier. In digital banking, on each account type such as Savings or Checking, you will see the 4-digit account identifier next to the name of the account, indicated by the red box in the image. You will see your six-digit account number at the bottom right corner of the tile, indicated by the green box.

If you have multiple 6-digit accounts, remember that you will be able to see them all on the digital banking home screen. Make sure you look at the Account number at the bottom right corner of the tile to differentiate your accounts.

You can add a nickname to each account type or hide accounts that you don't want to see by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner.

Did my account nicknames transfer over? No. You will need to set up nicknames again in the new system. Keep in mind that you are able to see all accounts with which you are associated in the new platform, so many account identifiers may appear similar. See the chart above about how to read your account type identifiers.

Do I need to download a new app? Yes. Please download the new app from your phone’s app store and delete the old app. For the best experience on mobile phones and tablets, please use the app instead of the browser. App Store and Google Play links are available at the top of this page.

Do I need to re-enroll in eStatements? You do not need to re-enroll in eStatements. Please verify your selections in digital banking to ensure that all selections are accurate within the new system. Remember that you will be able to see all accounts with which you are associated, and you will need to verify your statement preferences for each account.

Can I still access my account history? Yes. Your account history is visible in the new system.

Can I still access CardControl? CardControl is now CardValet®. You will need to uninstall the CardControl app and install the CardValet® app. See our CardControl update for more information.

How can I make a loan payment? In the digital banking menu, choose Transfers & Payments. Then select the tile labeled Pay a Loan. Choose which account you’ll be paying from, and which account you’re making the payment to. Then choose the payment type and hit Submit.

How can I reset my password? If you have been locked out after you have re-enrolled, you can follow the steps below.

If you need to reset your password, select the "Forgot your password" link from the login page. After entering the requested information and clicking Submit, you will receive an email at the address we have on file with instructions on resetting your password.

How do I make a Mastercard Payment? In the digital banking menu, choose Transfers & Payments. Then select the tile labeled Pay a Loan. Choose which account you’ll be paying from, and which account you’re making the payment to. Then choose the payment type and hit Submit.
